The RIA is back and was replaced with a new pistol as promised. To make amends, they also did a tune on the replacement as well as installing an appropriate .183" front sight and completed a test-fire before shipping it back to me.
The fit of the replacement pistol's grip and thumb safeties are improved as compared to the previous CS Tactical, though not perfect. Not the end of the world, some judicious shaping and a fresh dip into some parkerizing solution will take care of that.
The pistol has been cleaned, examined, lubed and function checked and is ready for a trip to the range. A full report will be posted after the range trip, hopefully tomorrow night.
